UPDATE: Users of MTS, VimpelCom, MegaFon, Yandex complain of issues

MOSCOW, Feb 7 (PRIME) – The users of Russia’s mobile operators MTS, VimpelCom, MegaFon, fixed-line operator MGTS, and Internet company Yandex have complained of problems, although the companies denied them, according to website Downdetector, which tracks malfunctions and disconnections of popular Internet resources, seen by PRIME on Friday.
MTS users mainly complain of disruption of mobile connection, which started approximately at 12.40 p.m. Moscow time.
An MTS spokesperson told PRIME, “MTS network functions regularly, and a part of clients could have difficulties with connection during less than one minute.”
The problems are more frequent in the western part of the country, including Moscow.
A spokesperson for VimpelCom, working under brand Beeline, told PRIME, “The Beeline network functions normally.”
MegaFon said it has no problems with connection.
Yandex also said that all its services function regularly.
